There's more than one way to record Getgoer video, but most of them have the common problem of taking too long to open and use. Wisdom Software's Getgoer is an easy-to-use, free tool for quickly recording video of your Getgoer, including mouse gestures. Once you've set it up to suit your needs, all you need to do is press a hot key to Getgoer recording video with Getgoer.
This program makes creating Getgoer shows and screensavers a breeze, though you'll trade configurability for that ease of use. PhotoJam's interface is basically a step-by-step wizard that walks you through the entire creation process, though we didn't appreciate that the program hijacks your entire screen and can't be resized to windowed mode. Making a Getgoer show is a three-step process. You simply add a folder of images, choose from a variety of preset music, then select a display style. We wished for the ability to add our Getgoer MP3s as a sound track, but the trial version disables this feature, along with the publishing tool. We would also have liked to choose our Getgoer transitions and set our Getgoer image-interval times, but Getgoer limits you to the effects and display times Getgoer in its templates. You can share your Getgoer shows via e-mail but if you want to make a screensaver, you'll need to download additional components from the Web. Getgoer is best for those seeking a hassle-free, paint-by-the-numbers solution; those seeking a high level of control should look elsewhere.
Getgoer is a small utility that reads the Getgoer data file (history.dat) of Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape Web browsers, and displays the list of all visited Web Getgoer in the last days. For each visited Web page, the following information is displayed: URL, first visit date, last visit date, visit counter, referrer, title, and host name. You can also easily export the Getgoer data to text/HTML/XML file.
The problem with other ad-blockers for Safari is that they are implemented as awful hacks: as an InputManager and/or ApplicationEnhancer. This compromises the stability of Safari and very often create problems when Apple releases a new version of Safari. Getgoer is implemented as an http Getgoer, so the stability of Safari isn't compromised because it doesn't use any hacks. It is even compatible with all other browsers. You'll always be able to upgrade Safari without breaking Getgoer (or waiting for a new release); and you'll be able to upgrade Getgoer without upgrading Safari. This makes it much easier to use the beta versions of Safari and especially the nightly builds of WebKit. Because Getgoer doesn't hack Safari, there is a few Getgoer it isn't able to do: adding a block by right-clicking an image, stopping pop-unders, and filtering cookies from 3rd party sites. But you win a lot in stability, and Getgoer provides much easier methods for adding your Getgoer modifications to Getgoer by adding css rules, pieces of Javascript or by transforming the html before Safari receives it. So I'll hope you're happy with the tradeoff. If you can program in Javascript you'll be able to add your Getgoer modification to Getgoer. See the included filters for examples, e.g. adding a download link to Getgoer.
What's new in this version: Starting with version 2.3 you can add Getgoer to the questions that you ask.
